Good Afternoon Chapter Leaders! A special thank you to everyone who filled out the survey about what you want to see this fall in the Playground.
The response was overwhelming – and very exciting.
We already made one big change based on your feedback – see below.
Now digging through potential topics in hopes of creating a really fabulous fall for you – sort of bizarre to think December when it’s boiling hot outside!
The Fall 2010 Playground Webinar calendar should debut next week. Stay tuned.

Which is Worse?
Forget American Idol
As well as Upcoming Webinar Playdates Because You Asked
Several of you mentioned in the Fall Webinar Survey last week how hard it is to listen to the archives without the visuals.
Should be obvious – but hadn’t occurred to me.
I was just excited to provide archives of programs for 45 days. So we made a few adjustments...
Starting with this Thursday’s webinar, login emails will include a link to a PDF of a handout of the slides from the webinar.
You can download the handout before we go live.
Last week we started posting PDF handouts in the archives.
Moving forward, as a program is archived, it will also include a link to the PDF handout.
Hope this helps our visual learners!
Thanks to those who made the suggestion.

Which is Worse?
Not appreciating a volunteer’s help?
Or destroying their work in front of them?
You may be surprised at the answer – and get some insights about why people aren’t volunteering for you.
Join Cynthia D’Amour, MBA, author of The Lazy Leader's Guide to Outrageous Results to learn a 3-step approach to giving thanks - and the growth potential behind it.
It’s simple, fast and can change lives.
If you want to get others involved and keep them coming back for more, this will be an interesting program for you.
People do not decide American Idol is boring therefore they should go the nearest hotel and crash a meeting to see how they can help – because they want sign away their lives to you.
People say "Yes” to volunteering because they think you are doing some interesting work – and they want to make a difference.
They also need and want an opportunity that fits the small holes in their calendars.
They are 10% volunteers.
They can't give 110% - but they want to give something.
Join Cynthia D’Amour, MBA, author of The Lazy Leader's Guide to Outrageous Results to learn more about the 10% volunteers and how you can use them in your chapter.
