Hi team!  My name is Angela and I'm a new CHADD coordinator in Oklahoma.

I have never done anything like this before so I will be relying on you veterans for support!

Hi all,

My name is Shauna, and I am the Membership Services Manager for the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology.  I have found a lot of useful tools/ideas thanks to Cynthia, but also look forward to any thoughts & ideas other leaders may have.

I am always looking for new ways to recruit/retain members, and am working on a new recruitment campaign for the 2011 year.  Any thoughts?

Hi Angela! Welcome to the Playground. There are lots of resources here to help you succeed - even as a new leader.

Shauna welcome to you too. We've got some fab programs coming up focusing on recruitment and retention. If you can't catch them live, make sure you check out the archives. The webinars are recorded and archived for 45 days.

Hi, my name is Donna and I'm joining through AAUW. I don't currently hold a leadership position in our branch, but I am a past president. I am also working on a state committee. I coordinate an annual STEM event for high school girls and recruiting and motivating committee members is getting harder each year. I could use some suggestions.

Hi everyone!  My name is Jan and I am very interested in this concept of leadership empowerment.  I am a member of AAUW in California.  I have been on an AAUW state committee and have held leadership positions in the past.  I am currently a Co-Director of a girls science and math camp to be held this summer for 7th grade girls going into the 8th grade.  I am on a huge learning curve.
